Lahari was also honored with acceptances to the University of Texas at Austin; Vanderbilt University, where she received a merit scholarship of $8,000; Texas Tech University, where she received a full ride; the University of Missouri–Kansas City; and Baylor University, where she was awarded a $120,000 merit scholarship.
