MKCHS is proud to spotlight alumnus Riley Little, who has been recognized as a Distinguished Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin. This prestigious honor is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, leadership, and community involvement during their collegiate studies.
What It Means to Be a Distinguished College Scholar and to receive this honor, a student must:
Be currently registered as an undergraduate at UT Austin.
Have completed at
least 60 semester hours of college coursework, including at least 30 semester hours in residence at UT Austin.
Maintain a minimum 3.50 GPA in residence at the university.
Rank in the top 4% of their college or school.
Have no final sanctions for academic or non-academic misconduct in the two years prior to the Honors Day report.
We are incredibly proud of Riley's hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence. His recognition as a Distinguished College Scholar is a reflection of the perseverance and character, he demonstrated both at MKCHS and beyond.
