We’re excited to introduce Kaitlyn Jaimes, a dedicated bilingual educator who is joining the Kelly family! Kaitlyn is completing her Bachelor of Social Work with a Spanish minor at Lamar University and is expected to graduate in August 2025. She has consistently excelled academically, earning well‑deserved recognition on both the Dean’s and President’s Lists.
Kaitlyn brings real world classroom experience from her time as a Teacher Assistant at the International School of Hidalgo in Mexico, where she immersed herself in a Spanish speaking educational setting. She provided hands on support for second graders, co‑created lesson plans, and honed her classroom management skills, all while engaging directly with students and deepening her cultural insights.
An active member of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, Kaitlyn has embraced opportunities to enrich her understanding of Hispanic language and culture. This involvement underscores her commitment to fostering cross cultural connections and academic growth through language learning.
We are thrilled she will be sharing her passion for Spanish with our students at Monsignor Kelly High School. Please join us in welcoming Kaitlyn Jaimes to the Bulldog family. ¡Bienvenida!
