We’re excited to welcome Tesa Renee Pace to Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School!
Tesa began her teaching journey in 1973 after graduating from Nicholls State College in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Over the years, she’s taught in New Orleans, Colorado Springs, and Lake Charles, and most recently in Beaumont ISD at Pathways and West Brook. A native of Sulphur, Louisiana, she’s a proud product of Catholic education, having attended Our Lady’s School under the guidance of the Dominican Sisters.
Tesa moved to Beaumont to be closer to her sister, Connie, and has embraced life here with enthusiasm. She bought what she calls “the worst house in a good neighborhood” and, with her sister’s help, completely renovated it from the studs up, ensuring its future-proof. In her free time, she enjoys reading the Classics, watching old favorite movies, and keeping up with the latest news. She says teaching is so fun and rewarding, she doesn’t even consider it a job.
Tesa is thrilled to finally be at Monsignor Kelly, the school she hoped to join when she first moved to Beaumont. So far, she’s felt nothing but warmth and kindness from the Kelly community, and she’s looking forward to a wonderful school year.
Welcome to the Kelly family, Tesa!
