We're excited to welcome Renee Celeste to the Kelly family!
Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School is pleased to welcome Renee Celeste back to campus as a member of the school community. A proud Kelly alumna, Renee Celeste brings a wealth of experience in education, academic leadership, and student support.
She earned a Master of Arts in History from Texas Tech University and a Master of Arts in English from Lamar University. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in History at Texas Tech University, where her dissertation explores the lives and experiences of Haudenosaunee women during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
Throughout her professional career, Renee has served as an Academic Advisor at Lamar University, a full-time History instructor at Lamar Institute of Technology, and most recently as a Program Director for Education Development at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Outside of her professional work, Renee enjoys reading, historical research, painting, and staying involved in the local theater community as both a performer and director. She and her husband, whom she met while they were students at Kelly, are proud parents of two children who attend St. Anne Catholic School.
As she returns to her alma mater, Renee is especially excited to return to the classroom full time. Teaching history has always been her passion, and she looks forward to sharing that enthusiasm with her students. The Kelly community is excited to welcome her home.
